📌 This role focuses on building backend interfaces that connect different systems in a stateless environment.
You will mainly work with Java Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to create integrations between open-source components and SAP.
The work involves:
- Reading technical documentation
- Building REST API calls to SAP
- Handling data flow and exceptions
- The developer will not work directly with the end customer’s systems but will have access to a separate GCP environment.
🔗 Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and integration interfaces using Java Spring Boot on GCP
- Implement REST API calls and manage data exchange between systems (especially to/from SAP)
- Work with open-source technologies to increase system transparency
- Handle exception management and ensure smooth data flow
- Collaborate with the lead engineer on requirements and system architecture
- Review technical documentation and implement solutions accordingly
- Build one end-to-end solution and maintain integrations
🔗 Key Requirements:
- Strong Java (Spring Boot) skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (buckets, Pub/Sub, serverless architecture)
- Knowledge of REST API design and integration
- Good understanding of stateless architecture
- Ability to work with documentation and create integration solutions independently
- No mandatory frontend experience (backend focus)
- Bonus: exposure to SAP integrations or enterprise environments
