Business Development Assistant

Our partner, a recruiting agency in the medical field, is looking for a Business Development Specialist whoโ€™s great at research and proactive lead generation.

This role is all about finding new business opportunities - not waiting for ready-made databases, but actually discovering fresh leads, new channels, and potential clients through smart research and outreach.

๐Ÿ”— Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking growth alerts such as job adverts, role changes etc across biotech and
    pharma.
  • Following investment news (financing rounds, IPOs, partnerships).
  • Using platforms like Crunchbase, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Talent Insights & Biotech
    lists to spot active or emerging companies.
  • Reviewing Alerts including Linkedin updates, Google News etc.
  • Supporting conference and event outreach (pre-event research, lists, and message
    preparation)

๐Ÿ”— Requirements

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in business development or lead generation.
  • Strong research skills and ability to find leads beyond standard lists.
  • Fluent English (German is a nice plus).
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn outreach and basic CRM tools.

  • Understanding of recruitment and hiring processes is an advantage.
  • Experience working with international markets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
